The focus of this course is to further develop the students’ listening comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing skills. They are able to respond to simple questions in short sentences. The learned vocabulary and pronunciation is expanded and refined. Students practice their writing skills by formulating short stories and presenting these verbally as well as in writing. Grammatical skills taught include the present tense and nominative case; differences and similarities in sound/letter relationships are examined. Pronouns are introduced. Songs and games and role-play make learning fun.
