Students are building upon the foundation established in previous classes. Clarity of speech is encouraged. With an increase of vocabulary words and improved comprehension, students can discuss a wider variety of topics. Interactive activities, such as singing and playing games, help to develop language proficiency. Creative writing is being practiced on a regular basis. Geography of German speaking countries is introduced through maps and photos to familiarize the students with the nations from which the German language stems.
